Job Description

This role involves providing heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC-R) services, including installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, such as cooling towers, chillers, RTUs, boilers, and automation systems in an industrial setting.

Essential Job Duties:

• Install, assemble, connect, and repair piping and refrigerant lines; install and maintain electrical controls; check voltage.
• Operate equipment and test for proper functioning; adjust and document operation of pumps, humidifiers, filters, and valves.
• Lubricate machinery and recharge systems with refrigerant.
• Inspect equipment for defects like leaks and faulty components.
• Clean, inspect, and service air conditioners, condensers, evaporators, and cooling towers.
• Maintain and repair heating-cooling units, VAV boxes, fan boxes, and air control valves.
• Evaluate and adjust control systems, including electric, electronic, and pneumatic controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance: check belts, lubricate motors, replace belts, and change filters.
• Assist with testing, adjusting, and balancing air and hydronic systems.
• Test critical building systems such as emergency generators, transfer switches, UPS, and automation systems.
• Maintain tools and inventory.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or sponsorship.
• 5-7 years of HVAC experience, especially with large mechanical equipment in an industrial setting.
• Reliable, trustworthy, team player, and capable of working independently.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position, working 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating on-call duties and occasional weekends/overtime. Candidates living within commuting distance to Lancaster, PA, are encouraged to apply.
