Job Summary:

This role serves as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined market, including healthcare, manufacturing, education, and office complexes. Responsibilities include commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting HVAC systems in a commercial environment, utilizing knowledge of air conditioning, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts. The position involves working with internal and external partners on new setups and retrofits, with access to technical support, training, and career growth opportunities.

  • Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work.
  • Serve as the direct customer contact, responsible for products and equipment, ensuring satisfaction through diagnosis and repair.
  • Use software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
  • Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain security of company assets.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with 5+ years HVAC experience; technical training preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
  • Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, with no major violations in the past 3 years.
  • EPA Certification required.

Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure:

  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely, wear safety gear, and perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
  • Exposure to variable weather, mechanical, electrical, and environmental conditions.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $26-$38+/hour. Actual pay depends on experience, seniority, and location.
