ERG is seeking a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician with mid- to senior-level experience to assist with facilities projects for a Department of Defense (DoD) client. Responsibilities include HVAC installation, routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage controls. The position is based at a federal site in Indian Head, Maryland, with potential for alternative work schedules.
The role involves supporting full lifecycle of small-scale projects, conducting site visits, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with codes and regulations. The candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience (or 2 years if licensed/certified), EPA Refrigerant Reclamation and Recovery Certification, and experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS). Strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of HVAC systems, and the ability to interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints are essential.
The position offers a salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
