Adecco is seeking a qualified HVAC Technician for residential and commercial systems in Pittston, PA. The role involves installing, diagnosing, and maintaining HVAC equipment, reading schematics, and ensuring safe operation.

You will service furnaces, rooftops, chillers, and related components while delivering strong customer service. Requirements include 3+ years of HVAC experience, EPA 608 Certification, and a clean driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3+ years of HVAC experience in residential and commercial environments.
• EPA Section 608 Certification.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, controls, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshooting schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues using appropriate testing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, rooftop units, boilers, chillers, and ventilation systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Conduct system performance testing and ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
• Perform refrigerant recovery, charging, and leak detection in accordance with EPA regulations.
• Replace defective components, including motors, compressors, thermostats, controls, belts, and electrical parts.
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to customers and management.
• Complete accurate service reports, maintenance records, and work orders.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
• Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in a clean and professional manner.
• Adhere to all OSHA, company, and customer safety requirements.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician with a strong background in both residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, on rooftops, ladders, and in varying weather conditions.
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching.
• Ability to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

Pay Details

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
