Hyatt Vacation Club is hiring a Maintenance Technician III to support Owners and guests with repairs and preventive maintenance across our properties. The role emphasizes strong mechanical aptitude, safety, and customer service in a responsive, team-focused environment.

The position requires responsiveness to guest requests, proficiency with building systems, and ongoing participation in safety and technical training. Competitive benefits are included where applicable.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine and preventive maintenance.
• Strong communication with guests/owners to resolve issues and explain repairs.
• Commitment to safety procedures and workplace policies.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and service needs.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Communicate with guests/owners to resolve maintenance issues.
• Demonstrate strong mechanical and engineering operations skills.
• Conduct inventory related to engineering tasks.
• Troubleshoot building systems and equipment at an advanced level.
• Read, log, and interpret readings from meters, gauges, and devices.
• Participate in safety, technical knowledge, and career development trainings.
• Greet guests, interact professionally, and support team goals.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures.

As a Maintenance TechnicianIII, a typical day will include:

• Responds and attends to guest repair requests.

• Performs preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.

• Communicates with guests/Owners to resolve maintenance issues.

• Displays above-average engineering operations skills and strong general mechanical ability.

• Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.

• Performs advanced troubleshooting of building systems.

• Reads, logs, tracks, and interprets readings from meters, gauges, and other measuring devices.

• Participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development as applicable.

Guest Experience and Company Standards

• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.

• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.

• Contribute to team goals.

• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

To Become a Maintenance TechnicianIII at HVC:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.

• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.

• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.

• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
