Job summary

Hyatt Vacation Ownership is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support villa care and guest experiences at our Hawaii property. You will perform preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and assist with HVAC readings to ensure comfort and safety for Owners and guests.

The role requires flexibility to work various shifts, weekends and holidays, and may require a valid driver's license. We offer competitive pay and benefits in a supportive, inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance or hospitality support preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts including holidays and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license may be required with at least one year of clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Performs Villa Care Preventive Maintenance tasks (basic painting; basic repairs such as replacing lightbulbs; HVAC readings).
• Performs minor building repairs as assigned.
• Responds to guest repair requests promptly.
• Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.
• Participates in regular safety, technical knowledge, and career development trainings.

Requirements

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
