Hyatt Vacation Ownership is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to ensure villa care through preventive maintenance, basic painting, and minor repairs. You will respond to guest requests, manage simple engineering inventories, and participate in ongoing safety and technical trainings.

Qualifications

• Villa Care Preventive Maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Basic Painting and repairs (replacing lightbulbs).
• Minor building repairs as assigned.
• Respond to guest repair requests.
• General engineering-related inventory duties.
• Regular training for safety and career development.

• (i.e. Basic Painting; Basic Repairs such as replacing lightbulbs. Performs temperature readings on appliances/HVAC, etc.)
• Performs minor building repairs as assigned.
• Responds and attends to guest repair requests.
• Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.
• Participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development as applicable.

As a Maintenance Technician I, a typical day will include:

• Performs Villa Care Preventive Maintenance tasks as assigned.

To Become a Maintenance Technician I at HVC:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
