The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of commercial or institutional HVAC experience, EPA Universal Certification, and the ability to read wiring schematics. This role offers steady hours, safety‑focused operations, and long‑term stability on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial, institutional, or large‑scale HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Universal Certification required; State HVAC license or journey‑level credential preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills; able to read wiring schematics and technical manuals.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders, and work in equipment rooms and rooftop settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair campuswide HVAC equipment (rooftop units, chillers, split systems, air handlers).
• Perform routine preventive maintenance per SOPs and manufacturer specs.
• Complete daily work orders, logs, and maintenance tracking accurately and on time.
• Respond to temperature adjustments, service calls, and critical campus issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols, Lock-out/Tag-out, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with on-site facilities, electrical, and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily work orders, digital inspection logs, and maintenance tracking accurately and on time.
• Respond promptly to temperature adjustments, service calls, and critical facility issues across campus.
• Adhere strictly to campus safety protocols, Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out procedures, and environmental compliance standards.
• Work collaboratively with our on‑site facilities, electrical, and maintenance team members.

• Certifications: EPA Universal Certification required. (State HVAC license or journey‑level credential preferred).
• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, advanced electrical troubleshooting skills, and fluency with reading wiring schematics and technical manuals.
