Job summary

R & T Yoder Electric, Plumbing, & HVAC, INC in Columbus, OH is hiring a full-time experienced HVAC Technician to grow with an established, family-owned company. You will install, service, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems while delivering excellent customer service.

Earn up to $45/hour plus a $300 sign-on bonus, with a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, life insurance, 401(k), PTO, sick days, holidays, a company vehicle, and uniforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years HVAC field experience required.
• Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes.
• Ability to remove old HVAC systems and install new ones.
• Perform routine maintenance and service calls.
• Ability to train junior team members and communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Remove old systems and troubleshoot service issues.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
• Communicate clearly with clients and document work performed.
• Read wiring diagrams and interpret refrigeration cycles.
• Order and maintain equipment and materials as required.

As a HVAC Technician, you will earn a competitive wage of up to $45/hour, depending on experience. Plus, we offer a $300 sign-on bonus! You will also be eligible for generous benefits including health, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401(k), 2 weeks of paid time off (PTO) that increases based on time of service, 5 paid sick days, paid holidays, monthly bonus opportunities, and a company vehicle and uniforms.
