Job summary

R & T Yoder Electric, Plumbing, & HVAC, INC in Columbus, OH is hiring a full-time experienced HVAC Installation Technician. You will install, service, and troubleshoot residential and commercial systems, read wiring diagrams, and ensure codes compliance.

The role requires 4+ years of field experience and strong customer communication skills. We offer up to $45/hour, a $300 sign-on bonus, a company vehicle and uniform, comprehensive benefits, a 401(k), and generous PTO and sick days.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HVAC field experience.
• Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes.
• Removing old HVAC systems.
• Installing new HVAC systems.
• Performing routine maintenance.
• Training junior team members.
• Communicating with clients and customers.
• Ordering and maintaining equipment.
• Running pipe and duct systems through homes.
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams.
• Understanding refrigeration cycles.
• Interpreting technical data such as pressure and temperature.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Read wiring diagrams and interpret technical data.
• Communicate with clients and customers to provide updates and gather requirements.
• Order and maintain equipment, and coordinate with team members.
• Inspect installations for code compliance and quality workmanship.
