Job summary

Aerotek is hiring an Entry-Level HVAC Installer / Ductwork Technician in Bridgton, ME. You will assist in installing HVAC equipment, ductwork, and ventilation systems in residential and commercial settings, while learning startup, troubleshooting, and service tasks under experienced technicians.

You will operate hand and power tools, handle basic electrical/mechanical connections, and contribute to safe, efficient project execution on site.

Responsibilities

• Help assemble, install, and secure ductwork and sheet metal components according to project plans.

• Assist with basic electrical and mechanical connections as part of HVAC installations.
• Support troubleshooting and repair activities while developing diagnostic skills.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and utilize proper PPE while working on active construction sites.
• Work as part of a team to complete projects on schedule and deliver quality workmanship.

Bonus Qualifications

While not required, the following experience is a plus:

• Construction, carpentry, sheet metal, maintenance, or mechanical experience.


• HVAC trade school or vocational training.


• OSHA 10 Certification.


• Experience reading blueprints or installation drawings.


• Familiarity with HVAC systems, ductwork, or sheet metal fabrication.


• Interest in developing troubleshooting and repair skills.

Work Environment

This is a field-based position working on residential and commercial construction projects throughout the area. You'll install and service HVAC equipment, ductwork, ventilation systems, and related mechanical components. Work may take place indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and will involve climbing ladders, working in attics and crawl spaces, and performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, and standing throughout the day.

Work Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgton, ME.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
