Qualifications
- Required Education: High School Graduate or (4‑years) equivalent experience working in the capacity of general maintenance or HVAC. Must have a minimum of 2,000 documented and verifiable hours of experience (verifiable through another licensed Class I Heating contractor whose license can be verified, or through history working at a Mission Hospital) or 1,000 hours of service or maintenance work, or 1,000 hours of HVAC installation, layout and design of HVAC systems. Individual may hold a North Carolina Class I Heating License or be a licensed 3rd‑level Apprentice, Journeyman HVAC Technician or have an HVAC contractor’s license from another state equivalent to a Class I Heating License in North Carolina.
