Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain hospital systems and equipment, ensuring high-quality, efficient care.

You will perform routine preventive maintenance, enforce OSHA lock out/tag out safety practices, and use PPE consistently. You may label equipment out of service and coordinate with staff on backups while communicating via two-way radio and supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in a related role preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of hospital systems and equipment safety.
• Ability to follow OSHA lock out/tag out procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on hospital systems and equipment for efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA lock out / tag out safety practices.
• Utilize PPE for safety at all times.
• Label equipment out of service and inform staff of backup equipment promptly.
• Operate and respond to two-way radio communications in a timely manner.
• Assist other department staff and take on additional responsibilities as directed by the department manager.

What you will do in this role:

• You will perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on various Hospital systems and equipment as required to assure optimum efficiency, reliability and safety.

• You will maintain full compliance with OSHA lock out / tag out safety practices.

• You will consistently utilize approved PPE for safety as required.

• You will label equipment out of service and informs staff of back up equipment in a timely manner.

• You will properly operate and respond to use of two-way radio communications in a timely manner.

• You will assist other department staff and accepts additional responsibilities as given by department Manager.

What qualifications you will need:

• (DL) Driver License
