Eckerd Connects is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain and repair heating and cooling units at Turner Job Corps in Albany, GA. The role is hourly and non-exempt, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Duties include preventative maintenance, equipment storage, and safe transport of students to sites as needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 1 year of related work experience; technician experience preferred.

Knowledge of maintenance techniques; state commercial driver\'s license preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with trainees and relate to the trainee population. Ability to operate household appliances. Must interact with team members and maintain an effective working relationship with all facility staff and departments.
Job Corps is the largest nationwide residential career training program in the country and has been operating for more than 60 years. The program helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment.
