Job summary

SPX Technologies seeks a Technical Service Support professional to provide boiler and water heater technical assistance by phone and email. You’ll work with Patterson-Kelley, LLC and Weil-McLain lines, supporting internal teams and external customers in a hybrid environment.

The role covers field service collaboration, training, and after-hours support, requiring HVAC experience, strong communication, and proficiency with ERP/CRM tools.

Qualifications

Five years' HVAC/hydronic experience or training.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of product functionality and diagnostics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Provide boiler and water heater technical support by phone and email.
Assist field reps and technicians with retrofitting procedures.
Review startup reports and follow up with field staff.
Help customers and internal teams select boiler/water heater parts.
Serve as subject matter expert on equipment sizing, installation, and troubleshooting.
Provide after-hours or weekend support for urgent issues.
