Job summary

SPX Technologies, Patterson-Kelley division, is seeking a Technical Service Support specialist to provide boiler and water heater technical support for internal and external customers. This hybrid role supports field reps, conducts run-outs, and assists with service trips and diagnostics.

You will train technicians, review startup documentation, and maintain detailed technical reports while ensuring timely responses to emergencies or after-hours needs.

Qualifications

• Five years’ related experience or training in HVAC and/or Hydronic systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for professional customer support.
• Basic understanding of product functionality, terminology and diagnostics.
• Proficiency with MS Office for documents and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Provide boiler/water heater technical support via phone and email.
• Assist field reps/technicians with retrofitting and startups.
• Review startup reports and follow-up with field staff.
• Deliver training at the technical school and remotely or in person.
