Job summary

Building Automation Products, Inc (BAPI) is seeking a Technical Documentation Specialist to support Engineering, Marketing, and Sales by developing, maintaining, and reviewing technical documentation and training materials for HVAC sensor products.

You will translate complex technical information into clear resources like installation manuals, datasheets, troubleshooting guides, and internal knowledge materials, while ensuring accuracy with product updates and ENF/ECN changes.

Qualifications

Strong written and oral communications skills.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Document Control, Version Control Systems.
PLM-like tools.
Understanding of Engineering Change Processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word).
Experience in HVAC & Electronics.

Responsibilities

Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation for HVAC sensor products, including installation manuals, datasheets, troubleshooting guides, and internal knowledge resources.
Translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly documentation for customers, technicians, and internal teams.
Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with product specifications and company standards.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Sales teams to collect accurate technical information.
Verify technical content for accuracy and completeness before publication.
Maintain organized documentation systems and repositories for easy access and version tracking.
