Corewell Health is hiring for a full-time HVAC maintenance position at Lakeland Hospital St Joseph. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and services on HVAC systems while ensuring safety and quality in a healthcare environment.

The role requires collaboration with supervisors and other trades, along with documenting work and maintaining equipment. Licensing and certifications support responsible handling of refrigerants and compliant service.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant HVAC experience with facility equipment and maintenance procedures.
• LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan.
• CRT-Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Certification - 180 Days.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates and collaborates with the supervisor, customer, and other trades to ensure quality, timely, cost effective maintenance.
• Performs comprehensive HVAC maintenance including installation, repair of heating and cooling, piping systems; measures, cuts, installs ductwork, wire, and fittings.
• Documents procedures and work completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensures proper care, maintenance and safe use of equipment and supplies; keeps work areas orderly, clean and safe.
• Performs HVAC construction work including layout, demolition and installation of HVAC systems.
• Ensures all HVAC services comply with legal specifications, electrical codes, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Plans and coordinates workflow with other trades; acts as resource for HVAC systems.
• Specialized training: completion of four additional HVAC specialty courses from providers like Bell & Gosset, Trane, etc.

Job Summary

Provides a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment through cleaning and general maintenance under the direction of a supervisor. Independently performs preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and services on various HVAC systems. Participates in the overall building management program to provide high quality, cost effective service with a high emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions

• - Communicates and collaborates with the supervisor, customer, and other trades and sub-contractors to ensure quality, timely, cost effective maintenance with continuity and coordination of services.
• - Performs comprehensive HVAC maintenance including the assembly, installation, repair of all items associated with heating and cooling and piping systems, and minor plumbing & electrical maintenance according to specifications and HVAC codes. Measures, cuts, and installs ductwork, wire, and fittings using hand and power tools.
• - Documents procedures and work completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• - Ensures proper care, maintenance and safe use of equipment and supplies and keep work areas orderly, clean and safe.
• - Performs HVAC construction work including layout, demolition and installation of all types of HVAC systems.
• - Ensures that all HVAC services are provided in accordance with legal specifications, electrical codes, organizational policy, and compliance requirements.
• - Plans and coordinates work flow with other trades and acts as resource related to HVAC systems.
• - Specialized training: Completion of four additional specialty courses related to HVAC by companies such as: Bell & Gosset, Trane, Temperature Monitoring devices, and others.

• - 2 years of relevant experience HVAC experience with facility equipment and maintenance procedures
