TE Connectivity is seeking an HVAC Technician at our Middletown, PA site. The role emphasizes safety and productivity within a fast-paced maintenance team. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment, and support energy-efficiency initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of HVAC experience, a CFC certification, and strong communication skills. Travel and after-hours work may be required based on site needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment quickly and accurately.
• CFC refrigeration certification is required.
• 3+ years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to train others and share knowledge with the team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility HVAC equipment.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and repair equipment failures.
• Perform new installations and various work orders as assigned.
• Conduct energy efficiency studies and opportunities.
• Implement process and equipment improvements to optimize operation.
• Write reports documenting equipment and process conditions.
• Train others in field of expertise.
• Perform general building maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical tasks.
• Track paperwork, time and work orders.

Job Overview

The facilities H.V.A.C technician will have a paramount priority towards safety and productivity and will work diligently to help sustain an effective and efficient services department. Work is often performed under time and budgeting constraints to help achieve the sites operating efficiency goals and preventative maintenance performance results. This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility equipment
• Analyze, troubleshoot and repair equipment failures
• Perform New installations
• Perform corrective maintenance and other types of work orders as assigned
• Perform studies for Energy efficiency opportunities
• Perform process and equipment improvements to enhance its operation
• Write reports to communicate and document equipment and process conditions
• Train others in field of expertise
• Perform general building maintenance including plumbing, light carpentry, Snow removal, basic electrical and after hours on call response.
• Keep track of all paperwork, time and work orders.

What your background should look like

• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• CFC Certification required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3 years’ minimum experience with maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing commercial H.V.A.C. systems
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability and willingness to train others
• Must be willing to work any shift, modified shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $52,000 – $77,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
