Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking an HVAC technician to support the operation, maintenance, and construction of facility systems in Manchester, NH. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, inspections, refrigerant handling, and repairs to ensure continuous HVAC performance.

The successful candidate will have at least three years’ experience with Central HVAC equipment, a Refrigerant certification, and a valid driver's license, with responsibilities spanning system checks, records

Qualifications

High school diploma required and HVAC experience preferred.
Minimum three years of Central HVAC experience with refrigerant handling certification.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and inspections as scheduled.
Initiate corrective actions and repairs identified during inspections.
Lubricate compressors, motors, and moving parts.
Establish and optimize preventative maintenance schedules for new equipment.
Inspect system operation, vacuum/pressure, and refrigerant levels; troubleshoot controls.
Maintain accurate equipment history records and manuals.
Repair pumps, valves, and traps to ensure system continuity.
Install and troubleshoot building automation and energy management components.
