Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; 1+ year HVAC design/maintenance experience.
• Experience with clean-room design and energy modeling.
• Familiarity with HVAC system sizing, installation, and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and reports.
• Run air conditioning cooling load calculations and ASHRAE-based heat loss calculations.
• Lead or contribute to HVAC system design for offices, hangars, rocket, and payload environments.
• Design HVAC systems to comply with ANSI/ASHRAE Standards 55, 62.1, 90.1.
• Implement and execute HVAC system commissioning per ASHRAE guidelines and standards.
• Coordinate with engineers and staff to implement procedures and resolve issues.
