Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking an HVAC Systems Engineer to join our Dallas team to design and innovate thermal solutions enhancing efficiency and reducing energy use. The role requires deep knowledge of HVAC standards and next-generation technologies.

Responsibilities include designing with advanced simulation tools, validating against commissioning data, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners, and driving continuous improvements while ensuring ASHRAE/AHRI/UL compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of HVAC system development experience.
• Experience with HPDM and advanced simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
• Experience developing control algorithms and OEM/ODM collaborations.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dallas. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in HVAC system design and innovation, contributing to pioneering thermal solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce energy consumption. This role requires a deep understanding of industry standards and a commitment to advancing next-generation HVAC technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems using advanced simulation tools to optimize component integration.
• Validate HVAC systems and equipment by comparing simulation results with commissioning data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to bring new products to market.
• Drive continuous improvements in HVAC technology to maintain competitive advantage.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, AHRI, and UL Standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC system development.
• Proficiency in advanced simulation tools such as the Oak Ridge Labs Heat Pump Design Model (HPDM).
• Strong understanding of Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics.
• Experience in developing control algorithms and working with OEMs/ODMs.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Desired Experience:

• Experience with high-efficiency heat pump systems and advanced HVAC components.
• Background with a leading HVAC system manufacturer is advantageous.
