Forest Recruiting Group on behalf of Affiliated Recruiters Network seeks an HVAC Systems Engineer for our Dallas on-site team. The role focuses on design and innovation to improve efficiency and reduce energy use, while adhering to ASHRAE, AHRI, and UL standards.

The ideal candidate will design systems with advanced simulation tools, validate results against commissioning data, and collaborate with OEMs/ODMs and cross-functional teams to bring new products to market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of HVAC system development experience.
• Proficiency with advanced simulation tools such as HPDM.
• Solid grasp of Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics.
• Experience in developing control algorithms and working with OEMs/ODMs.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dallas. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in HVAC system design and innovation, contributing to pioneering thermal solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce energy consumption. This role requires a deep understanding of industry standards and a commitment to advancing next-generation HVAC technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems using advanced simulation tools to optimize component integration.
• Validate HVAC systems and equipment by comparing simulation results with commissioning data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to bring new products to market.
• Drive continuous improvements in HVAC technology to maintain competitive advantage.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, AHRI, and UL Standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC system development.
• Proficiency in advanced simulation tools such as the Oak Ridge Labs Heat Pump Design Model (HPDM).
• Strong understanding of Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics.
• Experience in developing control algorithms and working with OEMs/ODMs.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Desired Experience:

• Experience with high-efficiency heat pump systems and advanced HVAC components.
• Background with a leading HVAC system manufacturer is advantageous.
