Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of HVAC system development experience.
• Proficiency with HPDM or similar advanced simulation tools.
• Solid understanding of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
• Experience developing control algorithms and collaborating with OEMs/ODMs.

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dallas. This role requires a deep understanding of industry standards and a commitment to advancing next-generation HVAC technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems using advanced simulation tools to optimize component integration.
• Validate HVAC systems and equipment by comparing simulation results with commissioning data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to bring new products to market.
• Drive continuous improvements in HVAC technology to maintain competitive advantage.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, AHRI, and UL Standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC system development.
• Proficiency in advanced simulation tools such as the Oak Ridge Labs Heat Pump Design Model (HPDM).
• Strong understanding of Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics.
• Experience in developing control algorithms and working with OEMs/ODMs.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Desired Experience:

• Experience with high-efficiency heat pump systems and advanced HVAC components.
• Background with a leading HVAC system manufacturer is advantageous.
