Tom Trese Networking LLC in Dallas is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Systems Engineer to design and optimize HVAC systems, leveraging advanced simulation to improve efficiency and reduce energy use.

You will validate designs against commissioning data, collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to bring new products to market, and drive continuous improvements to maintain a competitive edge while meeting ASHRAE/AHRI/UL standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in HVAC system development.
• Proficiency with HPDM or similar simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
• Experience developing control algorithms with OEMs/ODMs.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in advanced simulation tools such as the Oak Ridge Labs Heat Pump Design Model (HPDM).
• Strong understanding of Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics.
• Experience in developing control algorithms and working with OEMs/ODMs.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Desired Experience:

• Experience with high-efficiency heat pump systems and advanced HVAC components.
• Background with a leading HVAC system manufacturer is advantageous.
