Job summary

ARMI Contractors is seeking an HVAC Superintendent to own the jobsite from pre-mobilization through punch list. You will design production layouts, deploy crews, set the pace, and remove bottlenecks, reporting to the Project Manager and collaborating with a tight-knit field team.

You must have 5+ years of verifiable HVAC field experience in industrial settings, with a proven track record leading multi-crew projects and strong knowledge of ductwork, sheet metal, and safety practices.

Qualifications

• HVAC field experience in industrial environments (food, beverage, dairy).
• Proven track record running multi-crew jobs from setup to completion.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with Procore or similar PM software.
• Willingness to travel DOT-regulated projects.
• Knowledge of FDA/USDA 3-A sanitary welding is a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Design the production layout, zoning, crew deployment, material flow and equipment placement.
• Set up the jobsite 2–3 days before crews ramp.
• Lead Day 1–5 execution: establish pace and standards.
• Drive daily/weekly production targets and hold foremen accountable.
• Enforce safety, manage field reporting, schedule, and client communication.
• Mentor foremen and tradesmen; develop leadership in team.
• Coordinate with PM II on material deliveries, equipment, procurement timing.
• Identify and communicate scope changes before extra work begins (change orders).
• Own punch list and drive project to full completion; seek continuous improvement.
