Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Selling Sales Manager to lead profitable branch growth and strengthen long‑term customer relationships. You will guide the sales team in delivering equipment solutions across building types, with a focus on planning, forecasting, pipeline management, and team development.

The role emphasizes ownership of sales outcomes, accurate forecasting, and coaching to improve performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC sales, account management, and/or HVAC field operations.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Ability to work onsite; commuting distance to branch office required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead account management strategies to build long-term relationships with targeted customers.
• Plan, forecast, and deliver branch growth focusing on revenue, gross margin, EBIT, and working capital.
• Manage account assignments across the Equipment sales team to support performance to plan.
• Develop and lead the local sales team to strengthen capability and market coverage.
• Own sales planning, pipeline management, and sales activity tracking.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key owners, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Expand market penetration by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts.
• Build and maintain Account Plans for key customers and bundled offerings.
