Job summary

Bayonet in Tampa is seeking dependable HVAC Startup Technicians to join our new construction team. You will start up HVAC systems in new residential builds, verify operation, and report issues. Base pay is $20+ per hour with overtime and a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Candidates should have 1–3 years HVAC experience, EPA Type II or Universal, and a valid Florida license. You’ll work full-time with 8–10 hour shifts, and receive comprehensive benefits and training from experienced techs.

Qualifications

• 1‑3 years of HVAC experience (school + field work acceptable).
• Basic understanding of HVAC system operation.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal preferred).
• Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean record.
• Reliable transportation and basic hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing things right.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
