Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Service Technician to support projects regionally by installing and repairing HVAC systems, fixtures, wiring, and controls. The role includes on-site work, weekly updates, and travel as needed.

Required five to ten years of service experience, EPA certification, and knowledge of IECC, ICC, ASHRAE standards. Travel and independent work are expected, with relocation opportunities possibly available.

Qualifications

HVAC system maintenance, start-up and commissioning experience.
Familiarity with IECC, ICC, ASHRAE standards and local codes.
Strong diagnostic and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, diagnosing and resolving issues.
Perform HVAC system start-up and commissioning.
Complete commissioning tasks to verify performance and document parameters.
Ensure work aligns with contract scope, safety policies and Power Design procedures.
Provide weekly status updates on warranty, small projects, service tickets and material needs.
Work as an HVAC technician on job sites when not handling service calls.
