GSM Services in the Charlotte area is seeking an HVAC Service Maintenance Technician - Apprentice (Commercial). Learn hands-on preventative maintenance, coil cleaning, filter changes, and basic repairs on commercial systems, with mentorship from experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• EPA Universal Certification (or obtained within 90 days).
• Valid NC or SC driver's license.
• Own basic hand tools and tool bag.
• Overtime, weekends, and flexible hours availability.
• Work at heights greater than 8 ft.
• Leather boots with ankle support.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including coils and filters and belt changes.
• Inspect and replace electrical and mechanical components (contactors, capacitors).
• Complete preventative maintenance forms and advise customers on next steps.
• Assist the service department with repairs that require two technicians.
