Job summary

Sanden in Plymouth, MI seeks an engineer to promote HVAC products to OEMs, review customer specs, and communicate with customer technical teams during development. The role may include training other engineers and staff on HVAC components.

You will gather customer input, review specifications for product compliance, and represent Sanden at industry events. Collaboration with Sanden locations and internal teams is essential to deliver compliant, high-quality HVAC solutions.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years’ experience in automotive HVAC design / application support.
• FEA / CFD analysis knowledge.
• Working knowledge of electric vehicle thermal management systems.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAE and MS Office tools.
• Experience with automotive development processes (DRMEA, DRBFM, DVP&R).

Responsibilities

• Establish and present technical material with Sanden HQ for external customers.
• Present project updates to external customers.
• Lead and close technical and quality subjects with customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet customer specifications and milestones.
• Coach engineers and staff for sales engineering growth.
