Job summary

CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring Journeyman HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanics in Sylacauga, Alabama for a renovation project at Coosa Valley Medical Center’s 3rd Floor West Wing. You will assemble and hang ductwork, interpret blueprints, and install taps with dampers, smoke dampers, grilles, and registers.

The role is full-time and project-based, with a 2–3 week duration and 7:00 am start times. Immediate availability is preferred, with benefits and ongoing project opportunities offered by

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience required.
• Ability to interpret blueprints accurately.
• Experience installing square and spiral ductwork.
• Must complete ladder and fall protection safety.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and hang ductwork in designated areas.
• Interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
• Install taps with manual dampers, smoke dampers, grilles, and registers.
• Collaborate with team to meet project deadlines.
• Follow site safety procedures and PPE requirements.
