SKILLS
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with co-workers

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC sheet metal experience
- Proficiency with HVAC sheet metal hand tools
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness and ability to travel (personal vehicle required)
- Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training in sheet metal fabrication and installation is a plus
- Valid certification in sheet metal fabrication or welding
- Knowledge of construction standards and regulations related to sheet metal work
- Certification to operate lifts, forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
- Skilled in using hand and power tools such as shears, brakes, punches, welding equipment, and measuring tools
- Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting issues in sheet metal products or installations
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE use
- Leadership ability to manage 3 helpers and oversee material management
- Capability to produce field offsets for duct work connections
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components per specifications and drawings
- Be punctual and reliable in attendance
- Use tools to cut, shape, and form sheet metal
- Weld sheet metal parts to create finished products
- Install sheet metal components, including ductwork and HVAC systems, following established procedures
- Accurately measure, mark, and lay out work pieces
- Position ductwork, fire dampers, and equipment as per drawings
- Inspect and test products for quality standards
- Identify and repair issues or defects in ductwork and installations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Adhere to safety procedures to prevent accidents
