Job description

Yulista Integrated Solutions LLC

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Airframe Sheet Metal Mech II performs installation of aircraft sheet metal and structural components following approved methods, techniques, and practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Interface with Crew lead and other Technicians as required.
  2. Install sheet metal & structures in accordance with instructions/drawings.
  3. Meet customer needs by installing sheet metal & structures as required.
  4. Perform other duties as assigned, including overseas travel.
  5. Conduct Foreign Object Damage (FOD) walks and perform continuity and power checks.
  6. Operate Ground Support Equipment (Power Cart, Tug, Forklift, etc.).
  7. Provide own tools, excluding specialty tools.
  8. Remove, inspect, repair, and reinstall aircraft parts/systems.
  9. Log entries in accordance with DA PAM 738-751 or other contractual guidance.
  10. Maintain cleanliness and follow safety procedures, reporting unsafe practices promptly.
  11. Perform rotating break room cleaning duties.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have direct reports.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of structural repairs/enhancements on specified aircraft.
  • Ability to lift items up to 40 pounds and perform tasks in confined or awkward positions.
  • Capable of reading blueprints/drawings and using test equipment.
  • Effective communication skills and professionalism in interactions.
  • Trustworthiness and confidentiality handling.
  • Proficiency with office equipment and following processes.
  • Strong customer service, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn policies and perform mathematical computations.
  • Self-motivated, capable of multitasking, and independent work.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, with 4 years' experience including 2 years with military standards.
  • Ability to pass drug and background screening.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
