Job summary

T.A. Woods is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Journeyman to install, fabricate, and maintain sheet metal products such as ducts for HVAC systems. The role requires strong safety commitment and the ability to work well in teams or independently, based in the Los Angeles area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years commercial installation experience.
• Familiar with codes, specs, prints, and diagrams.
• Experience with ductwork, hanger systems, VAVs, dampers, access doors, smoke detectors, diffusers, grills, and equipment.
• Work safely and follow company and jobsite procedures.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and maintain sheet metal products for HVAC systems.
• Fasten seams or joints and assemble components.
• Install ductwork, hanger systems, VAVs, dampers, access doors, smoke detectors, and equipment.
• Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
