Job summary

TA Woods, a division of Ascension Property Services, is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Journeyman to install, fabricate, and maintain HVAC ductwork. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on commercial projects.

You will fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal components at construction sites, ensuring codes and drawings are followed, with a focus on durable, precise duct systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years commercial installation experience.
• Familiar with codes, specs, prints and diagrams.
• Experienced in vertical, renovation and upfit construction.
• Experience with ductwork, hanger systems, VAVs, dampers, access doors and related equipment.
• Work with safety as a priority and follow procedures.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and maintain sheet metal products for HVAC systems.
• Join seams and components using welds, bolts, or rivets.
• Install ductwork, hangers, VAVs, dampers, and access doors.
• Fabricate or modify parts at construction sites with hand tools.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
