Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of sheet metal estimating experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to prepare accurate and complete estimates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate HVAC sheet metal estimates for fabrication and installation.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for sheet metal, equipment, and accessories.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
• Determine project scope of work and required estimate components.
• Develop detailed labor and material cost estimates.
• Prepare and manage change orders based on revised mechanical/shop drawings.
• Maintain organized files of all working documents, including pricing from suppliers and cost data.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and vendors.
