Job summary

Preferred Air Inc in Topsfield, MA is seeking sheet metal install helpers to join our family‑owned HVAC team on residential and light commercial projects along the North Shore.

You will assist the lead technician with installing gas boilers, furnaces, heat pumps, ductwork, and related systems, while maintaining a clean, safe job site. Full-time, 8-hour shifts, with benefits and licenses noted in the listing.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Own tools and dependable, self-starter.
• Good customer skills and a positive attitude.
• Sheet metal apprentice license preferred; prior HVAC/install experience helpful.
• Residence on the North Shore preferred.

Preferred Air Inc is a well established heating & air conditioning company located in Topsfield, MA. We have immediate openings for sheet metal install helpers. We specialize in residential & light commercial HVAC installation and service. The ideal candidate must have a drivers license with a good driving record, good attitude, own tools, good customer skills, dependable, self starter, experience helpful, sheet metal apprentice license preferred. Would also prefer applicant to live on the North Shore.

Role and responsibilities:

• Assist the lead technician in the installation of air conditioning & heating systems including but not limited to gas boilers, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless & ducted systems, hydronic & hybrids.

Requirements:

• Driver's license with a good driving record

• Experience is helpful
• Residence on the North Shore preferred

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Pay:

• $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
