Job summary

Ward Plumbing, Heating & Air is hiring HVAC Service Technicians to work on the road serving Sylva, NC and surrounding areas. This full-time role involves diagnosing and repairing heating and cooling systems, including heat pumps, furnaces, and ductwork, with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have EPA Certification to handle Refrigerants.
• Minimum 2 years experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
• Must be professional and positive in communication - Happy customers and coworkers are your job as much as technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site HVAC diagnosis and repair.

• Operate with dispatch software and iPad to complete service tickets.

Salary: $34.97 - $50.49 per hour

Eligibility

• Must have a Valid Driver's License
• Must live within 45 minutes of Sylva, NC
• Must have EPA Certification to handle Refrigerants
• Must be eager to earn, including the use of technology (iPad, Sophisticated dispatch software, etc)

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as an HVAC Service Technician
• Must be proficient in Diagnosis and Repair of Heating & Air Conditioning systems including heat pumps, air handlers, gas furnaces, ductless systems, ductwork, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, thermostats and zone controls, etc.
• Must be professional and positive in communication - Happy customers and coworkers are your job as much as technical skills.
