CAM HVAC & Construction, LLC in Smithfield, RI is seeking an HVAC Technician to service commercial private and public-sector projects in Rhode Island. This full-time, year-round position offers pay up to $55 per hour DOE and requires RI J1 or MA journeyman license with 3+ years HVAC experience.

Based in Smithfield, service area includes RI and Southern MA. Valid EPA certificate, driver's license, and ability to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Valid EPA Certificate.
• Ability to pass Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and public sector customers.
• Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
• Travel to job sites in the service area, and communicate schedule statuses to customers.
• Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary.
• Report mechanical issues and submit monthly vehicle inspection forms; vehicles should be washed regularly.
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.

Full Time year-round permanent position and pays up to $55/ Per hour DOE- more if you're on a prevailing wage job

Location: Smithfield RI

Service area: RI and Southern MA

Requirements: RI J1 license OR MA journeyman license

• Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and public sector customers. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
• Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers.
• Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary,
• Reporting any mechanical issues, and filling out and submitting monthly vehicle
  inspection form. Vehicles should be washed on a regular basis.
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.

HVAC Service Technician Qualifications:

• Must have minimum 3 years of HVAC experience.
• RI J1 OR J2 OR MA Journeyman pipe fitter/ sheet metal/ or refrigeration license
• Valid driver's license
• Valid EPA Certificate.
• Ability to pass Background Check
