Job summary

CAM HVAC & Construction, a Crete United company, is seeking an HVAC Tech to service commercial private and public-sector projects in Rhode Island. Based in Smithfield, RI, this role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems for commercial and public sector clients, with travel within RI and Southern MA.

This full-time, year-round position offers up to $55 per hour DOE, with benefits including major medical, dental, vision, profit sharing, and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC experience.
• RI J1 OR J2 OR MA Journeyman pipe fitter/sheet metal/refrigeration license.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid EPA certificate.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for commercial and public sector customers.
• Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
• Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers.
• Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary.
• Reporting any mechanical issues, and filling out and submitting monthly vehicle inspection form. Vehicles should be washed on a regular basis.
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
