Job summary

CAM HVAC & Construction, a Crete United company, seeks an HVAC Service Technician to service commercial and public-sector projects in Rhode Island. This permanent full-time role offers up to $55 per hour DOE, with benefits and a strong team behind a 1974 legacy of quality.

Based in Smithfield, RI, you will travel within RI and Southern MA, perform installations, maintenance and repairs, and support ongoing scheduling and vehicle upkeep.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC experience.
• RI J1/J2 or MA Journeyman pipe fitter, sheet metal, or refrigeration license.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid EPA Certificate.
• Ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair HVAC units for commercial and public sector customers.
• Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Travel to job sites in RI and Southern MA and coordinate with dispatch.
• Maintain the company vehicle, refueling and regular washings.
• Keep stock, parts, tools and safety equipment in the vehicle.

HVAC Service Tech Job Description

• Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and public sector customers. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
• Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers.
• Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary,
• Reporting any mechanical issues, and filling out and submitting monthly vehicle inspection form. Vehicles should be washed on a regular basis.
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.

HVAC Service Technician Qualifications

• Must have minimum 3 years of HVAC experience.
