Job summary

APi Group’s South Dakota unit seeks HVAC Service Technicians to service existing accounts and develop new ones in the Mitchell market. The role covers installation, maintenance, and commissioning of commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC systems.

Qualified candidates have 1–2 years HVAC education or equivalent experience, 2–5 years mechanical experience, and a valid driver’s license. Daily local travel and safety compliance are required. Excellent benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 1-2 year HVAC degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building mechanical systems including HVAC.
• Two to five years of mechanical experience, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
• Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions including safety policies and procedure manuals.
• Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner and communicate work order status.
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulation, governmental agencies, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain adequate knowledge of and always comply with OSHA standards and Company Safety policies.
• Daily local travel between properties.
• Experience providing superior customer service.
