Qualifications

• Hands-on HVAC service and troubleshooting experience required.
• Ability to diagnose and repair systems without constant supervision.
• Proficiency in low-voltage controls and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use HVAC diagnostic equipment.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Dependable, punctual, professional, and customer-focused.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light-commercial HVAC systems.
• Work independently and complete assigned service calls efficiently.
• Service split systems, heat pumps, packaged units, gas furnaces, and ductless mini-splits.
• Troubleshoot low-voltage electrical systems, controls, thermostats, and control boards.
• Read and understand wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Diagnose compressors, motors, capacitors, contactors, relays, metering devices, and other system components.
• Check refrigerant pressures, superheat, subcooling, airflow, and electrical readings.
• Clearly explain system problems and recommended repairs to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with the office.
