Job summary

Seider Heating is seeking an HVAC Service Technician who thrives on solving problems and delivering real results for customers. This role goes beyond routine repairs, requiring strong diagnostic thinking, precision, and confident communication to restore comfort.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems, read schematics, perform preventative maintenance, and document work. A valid driver's license and EPA certification are preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R experience required in service technician roles.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience with electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• EPA certification preferred or plan to obtain.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system performance and safety compliance.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Repair or replace electrical and mechanical components as needed.
• Perform plumbing-related HVAC tasks including pipe fitting, drainage, and water connections.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Assist with system upgrades, modifications, and equipment improvements.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete job documentation.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and communicate solutions clearly.
• Work independently while collaborating with dispatch and team members.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and company standards.
