Job summary

Evergreen State HVAC is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to own every service call from dispatch to client sign-off. You will diagnose and repair furnaces, heat pumps, AC systems, and basic controls while maintaining accurate, same-day documentation in the field system.

We value proactive communication, presenting clear good/better options with transparent pricing, and enrolling customers in maintenance plans when appropriate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as HVAC service technician (residential and/or light commercial) preferred.
• EPA 608 certification required/benefits
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in the field.
• Excellent verbal communication with homeowners, tenants, and property managers.
• Professional appearance, reliability, and discipline in following process.

Responsibilities

• Own every service call from arrival to completed documentation and client sign-off.
• Diagnose and repair furnaces, heat pumps, AC, ductless systems, and basic controls.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks per Evergreen standards.
• Present clear good/better options and pricing in plain language, aligned with No Surprises.
• Document findings, photos, recommendations, and parts in the field system on every visit.
• Identify and enroll clients into maintenance plans when appropriate.
• Handle emergency and after-hours calls as part of on-call schedule.
