Job summary

Northwest Mechanical, Seattle area's premier home‑comfort specialists, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to service residential systems to our high standards.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment, write up customer estimates, and represent NW Mechanical with professionalism while pursuing ongoing training.

We offer a competitive $40‑$55/hour wage (DOE) plus commissions, uniforms and vehicle, tools and devices, paid education, and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC service experience required.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems including heat pumps, boilers, furnaces, water heaters, and low voltage controls.
• Washington electrical certification (06A/06B) preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment repairs for residential HVAC systems.
• Write up customer estimates for repairs and replacements using company CRM/Dispatching software.
• Represent NW Mechanical professionally with customers and partners.

Position Summary:

To service our residential customer's heating and air conditioning systems to company standards, ensuring our customers have a high quality experience while providing responsible and ethical recommendations and proposals for repairs and replacement.

Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment repairs and changeouts for residential HVAC systems.
• Ability to write up customer estimates for system repairs and replacement utilizing company CRM / Dispatching software.
• Represent NW Mechanical professionally with our customers andpartners.
• Willing to attend training classes and expand working knowledge and technical skills.
• Be respectful and supportive of fellow members of the NW Mechanical team.
• Focus on safety for self and others.
• Other special projects as assigned.

What the Successful Candidate will have:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in HVAC service.
• General knowledge in HVAC systems including: heat pumps, boilers, furnaces, water heaters, andlow voltage control systems.
• Hydronic experience including boilers a plus.
• Service Titan experience a plus.
• Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings.
• Have or working towards Washington 06A or 06B electrical certification.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a frequent basis, and on occasion move and lift heavier items.
• Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
