Comfort Systems USA Ohio is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician III to join our commercial service team in Columbus. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and starting up complex HVAC systems and leading by example in field safety and customer service.

You will troubleshoot a wide range of equipment, mentor junior technicians, and help keep critical facilities operating safely and reliably while advancing your technical expertise and career with a top national network.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities across a wide range of commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions in the field.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and start up commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, heat pumps, and associated controls.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, airflow, hydronic, and controls-related issues.
• Build strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and clear communication.
• Support and mentor other technicians by sharing technical knowledge and field expertise.
• Help keep critical commercial facilities operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
