Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to perform diagnostic and service work on residential and light commercial systems. You will communicate with customers, answer questions, resolve issues, and promote products and services.

Under supervision, diagnose and service heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment; inspect and maintain equipment; ensure high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional HVAC training and 2+ years’ experience.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Proficient in servicing HVAC equipment and related systems.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner.
• Diagnose and service heating, cooling, ventilation and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
• Inspect equipment and perform diagnostics to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Complete routine maintenance and equipment cleaning.
• Deliver parts and equipment to complete service work and collect payment from customers.
• Communicate with dispatch to provide status updates during calls.
• Promote products and services to customers and capture leads for replacement sales.
• Maintain company property, vehicles, and tools in good condition.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
