What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will handle a steady mix of residential and light commercial service calls, typically completing multiple jobs per day with support from dispatch and management. You will be trusted to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and deliver high‑quality service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems
• Perform preventive maintenance including cleaning, inspections, and filter replacement
• Inspect and clear drain lines and ensure proper system performance
• Install, replace, and upgrade HVAC equipment
• Check refrigerant charge (superheat and subcooling)
• Evaluate airflow and system efficiency
• Use diagnostic tools including multimeters
• Document all work accurately and report findings to management
• Maintain a clean job site and company vehicle
• Provide professional customer communication
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed
• Mentor apprentices and work effectively on a team
• Construction and Remodels
• Fiberglass and Sheet Metal Duct Work
• System Replacement and Maintenance

What You Need to Succeed

• Minimum 5 years of HVAC service experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical HVAC systems
• Understanding of refrigerant charge, airflow, and system performance
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
• Comfort working with high and low voltage systems
• Ability to use diagnostic tools including multimeters
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Full-time, year-round position
• Rotating on-call schedule with overtime opportunities
• Work in residential and commercial environments
• Physically active role (lifting, climbing, confined spaces)
